Our zucchini walnut bread is a flat bread style that is very dense and filling. We dehydrate this bread at 110 degrees for roughly twenty four hours. In addition to zucchini and walnuts we also add hemp hearts, golden flax seed and a hint Himalayan pink salt. This bread is loaded with protein, omega fatty acids 3, 6, 9 and GLA, all nine essential amino acids, fiber, iron, vitamin E, (including gamma tocopherol) copper, manganese, magnesium, molybdenum, potassium, calcium, plant sterols, phenols, tannins, and flavonoids!! It has a very rich, almost buttery, flavor. Delicious!
Some suggestions for the zucchini walnut flatbread are “open-faced” sandwiches (stone ground mustard, avocado, cucumber and micro greens), throw a veggie burger on it and load it up with wha you like. This flatbread could also replace pizza crust!
